Hendon's litter and fly-tipping epidemic

Thanks to Conservative cuts, Hendon is facing a litter and fly-tipping epidemic. Rubbish is piling up in the streets. And Our do-nothing Conservative MP hasn't lifted a finger to sort out this mess. Please share this film and sign our petition: https://www.change.org/p/barnet-council-clean-up-barnet. Let our Conservative MP and Barnet Tories know that they created this problem and they need to fix it-right now

Barnet’s Conservative council has cut street cleaners and the street cleaning budget.

Labour councillors are calling for action to clean up Barnet’s dirty streets by – bringing back regular sweeping of residential roads, better cleaning of town centres, more action on fly tipping and working with local businesses, community groups and landlords.

The cleanliness of Barnet’s streets has been deteriorating with more and more litter on pavements and roads, overflowing and uncollected street and park litter bins, fly-tipped rubbish and uncollected autumn leaves. It’s time to #CleanUpBarnet

Barnet Labour’s motion on the poor state of Barnet’s streets was approved unanimously at the January 2019 full council meeting. Now it’s time for action to #CleanUpBarnet
