Hendon Labour Party Labour for a Brighter Barnet
From our Vice Chair for Campaigns – Humayane Khalick
“Well the our Policy on Brexit of being all things to all people has been a total success.
On today’s Borough Wide Day in Burnt Oak we had constituents saying they could not vote for Labour again because we are betraying Brexit.
We then had others saying they couldn’t vote labour because we are a Brexit supporting Party.
It is not good policy to argue with voters on their own doorsteps, but had I, it would have been easy to put up convincing arguments to support both views.
What an utter shambles when you have a citizen of Indian origin who has voted Labour since he first came to the country over 40 years ago stating his family of 5 would be voting UKIP. It took 10 minutes to convince him not to, although he is now likely to vote Green”.
